Here is a cool old lap steel that is mostly original and sounds terrific.  It seems to me to be the model they called the NS.  Hollow metal body.  Post-war or at least 40's.  These old horseshoe pickups are in quite a bit of demand-some of the most powerful pickups ever made.
-Original paint- gray/green burst with some chipping and scaling-looks good overall though.
-Pickup seems to never have been worked on or altered and it WORKS.  1.25 magnet width and   adjustable.
-Tuners original except knobs replaced.
-Pots and wiring replaced but knobs original
-Fixed a rusty patch on back (rust inhibitor and a felt patch- was staining my pants)
This is a great piece of history and has a badass sound to boot.  Check out Youtube for some sounds.
I don't have a lot tied up in this so I'm passing it on as a pretty good deal.  Check the prices on Ebay and Reverb.
