I recently restored two 1969 Honda CT90 K1's. During the restoration, I found that the throttle and brake cables were specific to that model and were unavailable anywhere at any price. I tried to use cables from another model, but they just didn't look or fit right. I decided to have them re-manufactured overseas.  It took 8 months and the tooling costs were prohibitive for a small run, so I had them make extras which I'm selling to cover my costs. These cable are a reproduction of the original Honda part. They even include the brake light switch incorporated into the front cable. This may be your last chance ever to buy replacement cables for your K1
These cables only fit a 1969 CT90 K1.  Make sure your bike is a K1 and has the following characteristics:
The headlight bucket houses a triangular speedometer. The airbox feeds from the side of the frame, not the rear rack or the downtube. The handlebars do not have a quick-release pivot. The front brake cable has a brake light switch incorporated into it with wires going into the headlight bucket. And most important: the serial number begins CT90-2xxxxx
IMPORTANT Note:
There are other cables available on eBay and various websites, but take a good look at the pictures before you purchase and compare them to mine.  Most other cables do not have the outer sheathing in high wear areas.  All my cables are replicas of the original Honda cables. They are the correct size, the correct color and have the correct outer sheathing to protect the cable from rubbing against the body - Just like Honda designed!    They cost a little more to produce and I have to charge a little more, but I guarantee the quality.
